What is the role of the QSU coordination committee?

Each year, a coordinating committee is elected by the member associations of the QSU. These elected individuals are responsible for carrying out the day-to-day work of the QSU. The committee acts as the organisation's executive body: it coordinates political, strategic and administrative activities, while ensuring that the mandates adopted by the members are implemented effectively. It also represents the QSU to external partners, the media and various government bodies.

    President
    General coordination of the coordinating committee and spokesperson for the association.
  • Audrey Fortin
    Vice President
    Assist the President in the accomplishment of her tasks and coordinate the tasks related to mobilization with the help of the persons in charge of coordinating mobilization and associative relations.
  • Élie Leblanc
    General Secretariat
    Manage day-to-day finances, registers and books, organize and follow up on institutional proceedings, ensure compliance with Board policies, and monitor the legacy of corporate actions and their conformity with by-laws.
  • Loïc Goyette
    Sociopolitical affairs coordinator
    Ensure the development of sociopolitical files of the legal entity concerning the citizen condition as well as maintain relations with community organizations and external groups.
  • Justine Wu
    Graduate and research coordination
    Ensure the development of files concerning graduate studies and research, as well as support for member associations, notably through training and the creation of tools for them within the framework of these files.
  • Sabrina Demers
    Higher education coordinator
    Carrying out the actions provided for in yhe action plan of the Academic Affairs Committee and responsible for files related to the management of the university network and student condition.

    Carrying out the actions provided for in the action plan of the Academic Affairs Committee and responsible for files related to the management of the university network and the student condition.

    Mobilization and associative affairs coordinator
    Coordination and realization of tasks related to mobilization, support of member associations, including the organization of training for them, and maintaining relations with non-member associations.
