Welcome to our third episode on research funding in Québec. In this episode, we are fortunate to welcome two grant recipients from the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ): Layal Chaikho, a doctoral student in biomedical engineering at Polytechnique, and Katerina Sviderska, a doctoral student in Slavic Studies at the University of Cambridge, with a master's degree in political science from the Université de Montréal.
In this episode, they talk about the FRQ's lack of funding, the precariousness of the next generation of researchers, how their work is valued and much more.
Happy listening!
