About the QSU

The Quebec Student Union was created to defend the rights and interests of students by promoting, protecting and improving the conditions of both students and their communities, locally and internationally. It currently represents 100,000 members from 12 student member associations from across the province.

Tuition fee increases for Canadians outside Quebec

On October 13, 2023, the Minister of Higher Education and the Minister of the French Language announced a significant increase in tuition fees for Canadian students outside Quebec. The QSU immediately took a stand against this unacceptable tuition fee increase.
